CONSTRUCTION DETAILS - DROP-STITCH FABRIC

All FLATED® products are made with durable drop-stitch fabric which allows a product to maintain its shape when it is inflated to high pressure. With tens of thousands of tough polyester threads, drop-stitch fabric allows for flat surfaces that can be inflated to rock-hard rigidity. Hard-shell performance meets easy transportation and storage. Sidewalls use PVC layers specifically manufactured for superior air holding. Unlike typical PVC tarpaulin, the specialized sidewall material features internal fibers coated in liquid PVC before incorporation with the outer PVC layer, making the layers more durable and resilient than ever before.

Super easy to set up

I got this for the ease of set up and storing after use. I haven't gotten a chance to use it on the road but I did inflate it to see how big it was in perfect. It took less than 5 mins to get it inflated to the recommended psi. And also just 5mins to deflate and pack away. This is exactly what I was looking for.

Can't wait to use it on our next road trip.

Product worked great but after a lot of rain the straps became saturated and started dripping into the car. Roof rack solves this problem.

Completely worth it!

We bought ours two months ago and did a complete road trip with. Rain, wind, sun, ... no matter what was the weather, it did a great job, no leak and always dry inside.

Great application for me

The pickup, packaging, quality and design are everything I expected. Although I have not used it yet, I have inflated it and checked out the videos. It should be perfect for my requirements as I have limited storage space and don’t want to have a bin mounted on my hybrid unless I’m going camping. I wonder about the fuel efficiency but will update once I’ve had it out.

Car Camping with Pup

I ordered the medium size air carrier for my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. We are car campers and needed extra room in the car to accommodate our 80lb pit mix! She loves to camp! On the air carrier's maiden excursion, it traveled 820 miles and endured 3 rainstorms. It performed like a champ! Set up and installation was so easy. It's so lightweight that a single person can easily place and secure it to the car. The only problem I had was with the zipper. It was very difficult to move the zipper past the lowest position up through the curve of the carrier. Once past that, it slid right along, but then got difficult again at the curve going to the other end. I was assured by customer service that that would get better with use. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase. I doubt that we would have been able to pack all that we packed into the carrier into a hard sided roof carrier. I highly recommend this product and am happy with the response of customer service.
